Jackie Busa
Executive Director
Jackie leads the talented clinical and support teams to create exceptional experiences and results for clients. She enjoys the creative and strategic process of bringing the most significant cosmetic dermatology innovations to our community. Jackie is passionate about cultivating lasting relationships with clients and staff, as these relationships are essential to providing the best care and achieving positive outcomes.
Jackie joined the practice in 2007 as the Director for Dr. Bonnie Straka’s relatively new Medical Spa. Prior to that, she held executive management positions at WorldStrides, Educational Fields Studies, and Macy’s.
During Jackie’s tenure, Signature Medical Spa has tripled in staff and services, earning numerous accolades from companies such as Allergan, Galderma, Merz, and Suneva as a top cosmetic dermatology practice in the state and even nationally. Additionally, Signature Medical Spa and Albemarle Dermatology often win local voter’s choice awards as a favorite in our community.
Jackie grew up in Reston, VA and earned a BA in Government from the University of Virginia, 1987. She moved to Charlottesville for the second time in 2005.
Outside of work, she loves to spend time with friends and family, including her two delightful young adults. Jackie enjoys traveling, biking, entertaining, and exploring the local area’s live music and natural beauty.
