We offer state-of-the-art cosmetic dermatology services in a nurturing environment with a results-oriented approach. Your initial visit may begin with a 30 minute comprehensive Cosmetic Consultation with one of our dermatologists or the Head Cosmetic Dermatology Nurse ($75). Other types of consultations exist, including a complimentary Botox®, Dysport® or Xeomin® consultation. A Skin Analysis with one of our Aestheticians is available to learn more about chemical peels, microdermabrasion, facials and the most effective products for your skin ($35 fee is applied to a treatment completed within 2 months of Skin Analysis).

Velashape ii

VelaShape II is available exclusively in the Charlottesville area at Signature Medical Spa.
Contour and trim your stomach, buttocks, inner or outer thighs, back and/or waist with this FDA cleared medical solution for the reduction of fat in problem areas. Clinical trails show that the average range of reduction is .5 to 3 inches.  Results will vary depending on the individual. The appearance of cellulite will be improved, but spot reduction of size and fat is the treatment’s goal. Ideal candidates are within 25 pounds of standard norms for height/weight ratios.

Treatments are generally one hour in duration, for a series of six weeks.  Packaged prices include six required treatments.  We require a $500 deposit to begin the treatments.  To maintain results yearly maintenance of two to five treatments are advised.
