IPL Photo Rejuvenation

This exciting technology, also known as facial rejuvenation, uses intense pulsed light (IPL) and is extremely effective in treating brown spots, sun spots, pigmented lesions, fine lines and wrinkles and rosacea. By promoting cell growth and enhancing collagen production, it leaves behind clearer, smoother, younger appearing skin. This treatment is also used to reduce sun spots on face, neck, chest and hands.

For patients with Actinic Keratoses (those rough, scaly skin patches caused by sun exposure that can sometimes progress into skin cancers), a drug called Levulan ALA is applied topically to absorb into fast growing epidermal cells. Next a light source activates the Levulan ALA and targeted cells are destroyed. This new and exciting treatment removes precancerous lesions and leaves you with younger, smoother, healthier skin.

Acne Treatment

Levulan ALA is the state of the art treatment for reducing acne breakouts. Tiny glands beneath the surface of the skin can become blocked and form a pimple. Levulan ALA, combined with a light source, shrinks these glands and kills bacteria in your skin. You will experience redness similar to a mild sunburn up to 3 days after treatment. One to three treatments may be required. 90 minutes - Face, chest or back.
